To Help you Pray this month for your Local Mosque Community.

According to Statista, Canada welcomed 313,580 immigrants in 2019. Newcomers come to Canada from a wide variety of countries and for different reasons. Some come to be reunited with their families, others are fleeing a difficult situation in their home countries and come as refugees, and some come to work.

Many newcomers in Canada are Muslims, and as they settle, they become our neighbours, school mates, colleagues and friends. A lot of them become our children’s classmates in schools, colleges and universities across the country. We have the opportunity to pray for them and to impact their lives with the love of God. 

• Many Muslim children and young adults are getting ready to go back to school and College/University. Pray for Christian teachers and College/University Professors, that the Lord will use their lives as salt and light in the lives of their students. 
• This time of year, many Muslim newcomers will be going back to school to study English or complete their studies. Pray for Christian teachers from the LINK program or schools to have an impact on their Muslims student's lives. May Muslims see the love of Christ through their lives and words.
• Pray that they will have opportunities to build relationships with Muslims, to meet them in their homes and to share the good news with them.
• Pray that churches will look for opportunities to help Muslim newcomers in their needs and actively be praying for the mosque community in their neighborhood.
• We know the Scriptures play an important role in Muslims coming to Christ. Pray for the distribution of the Word of God to Muslims all across Canada this fall.
• Pray for churches to be actively seeking ways to share the scriptures to Muslim families that are in contact with their church members.
• Pray that Muslims will discover the scriptures online and download Bible apps and copies of the Bible.
• Pray that Muslims will be drawn to social media sites that are sharing or teaching the Scriptures.
• Pray for the Jesus Film, King of Glory and other Biblical videos to be seen by Muslims.
• Pray that many Muslim hearts will be open to the Gospel as they are exposed to the truth through His Word.
• Pray that they will have personal encounters with the resurrected Christ and come to know Him as their Saviour.
