Loving Muslims Together is Launching Network Membership

A year ago, the LMT Network leadership launched a new structure. A number of you were there for that launch and have joined one of the new “Circles” providing grass roots leadership to various aspects of the Network.

One Circle was tasked with stewarding and growing the existing Network groups and relationships by supporting, encouraging, and resourcing the Network. As they began to tackle their assignment, they came to appreciate that they needed to know who was part of the Network. While many have participated in Network activities and others have provided leadership over the years, up until now there has been no way to ‘join’ the Network and thus no way to define the Network.

After researching and learning from other Networks in Canada, the decision has been made to invite individuals, groups, churches, ministries, and denominations to JOIN the network. The vision is that by joining, members will have access to relationships, resources, and opportunities, and the Network will be able to recognize ways to better serve, grow and collaborate.

The Network Circle is hard at work putting together the systems and structures to support membership, and we’re aiming for a launch this Fall.

About Loving Muslims Together

Loving Muslims Together exists because God’s love, demonstrated through Jesus Christ, is for Muslims. We function as local networks across Canada. We work to connect people and churches to opportunities, training and resources to help them build bridges to their Muslim neighbours, living out God’s love in word and deed.

No one is born hating another person because of the color of his skin or his background or his religion.

You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, all your strength and all your mind. And your neighbor as yourself.
