Windsor lies directly across the Detroit River from Detroit, Michigan. It is the southernmost city in Canada and the third largest community in southwestern Ontario after London & Kitchener. The Ambassador Bridge border connecting Detroit and Windsor is the busiest commercial crossing between the US and Canada. Windsor is known as the “Automotive Capital of Canada” and its economy is based primarily on manufacturing, tourism, education and government services. It is home to the University of Windsor and St. Clari College.

The Loving Muslims Together Network is reperesented in Windsor by a small group that meets regularly for prayer, fellowship and outreach.

Please pray:

That Christians in Windsor would not fear but understand Islam so that they can have meaningful conversations. Pray for hearts of compassion and love for Muslims.

Many Muslims love to talk religion and politics; pray for Christians to form relationships with Muslim neighbours and coworkers and to have boldness to enter into these conversations.

For our Christian young adults to reach out to the many Muslim students at St. Clair College and the University of Windsor, as well as for various outreach programs for international students from several different churches.

For unity among the churches to reach Muslims with the Gospel, and effective follow-up after Christmas programs and dinners that many Muslims attended.

For comfort for the many Muslims who knew victims of the Ukrainian Airlines tragedy in Iran.

That Christians from Muslim backgrounds (of which there are several in Windsor!) might seek out, find discipleship, and have boldness to publicly declare and share their faith.

About Loving Muslims Together

Loving Muslims Together exists because God’s love, demonstrated through Jesus Christ, is for Muslims. We function as local networks across Canada. We work to connect people and churches to opportunities, training and resources to help them build bridges to their Muslim neighbours, living out God’s love in word and deed.

No one is born hating another person because of the color of his skin or his background or his religion.

You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, all your strength and all your mind. And your neighbor as yourself.
